Our Goal
Our goal is to continually build the health of our soil, the quality of our water and the sustainability of our farm. We use no-till and organic practices, rotationally graze our livestock, and strive to develop as much wildlife, bird and pollinator habitat as possible while producing delicious, nutrient-dense foods for our community.
About Us
Poplar Ridge Farms, located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, is a family farm owned by Brian and Coleen Jones that grows produce, livestock, hay and grain. We believe a successful farming model must be diversified and adaptable, and that the foundation of any farm lies in soil and land management practices. To that end, our farming practices are rooted in regenerative agriculture.
What We Offer
Our focus is on providing a consistent supply of top-quality produce, as well as delicious lamb, pork, beef, and eggs. We grow using organic methods and strive to provide exceptional quality, nutrient-dense food for our customers. We serve customers in Bath County through our web store year-round, and attend the Staunton and Waynesboro farmers’ markets weekly. When the markets close for the winter, we move to an indoor market in Staunton and offer online ordering for pickup in Waynesboro.
